Enjoy some DIY magic with fresh botanicals in this stunning lei making class while learning about Pacific Island culture!

The art of lei making welcomes all with this traditional method used in the South Pacific Polynesian Islands as a traditional piece to celebrate & honor loved ones. This workshop is a part of our New Americans series instructed by local Utah artisan Kamie Afo-Aiono. In this class, Kamie will guide attendees through the process of crafting & braiding a stunning lei alongside the connection between this craft and her culture. Attendees will leave with a gorgeous fresh floral crown! As part of this six-part series, Craft Lake City is offering three full scholarships to each New American workshop based on financial need.
