A year after the inaugural Holladay Reflections in Dance Concert saw various groups come together for one night to celebrate the art, those groups returned for the second ever dance concert.

“How wonderful it is to have 11 strong dance education/performing groups coming together to present one unified concert of lovely dance performance honoring our community,” wrote Ginger Gunn in the program’s notes. Gunn was the producer/director of the event and serves on the Holladay Arts Council.

The dance community often sees animosity between private dance studios and public school dance teams. Gunn wrote these groups can feel “angst” trying to work around each other’s schedules.

“I am hoping this concert will begin to bridge the communication gap between these two fine entities and that the community will understand what each has to offer,” Gunn wrote.
